Male Nude Watercolours

Gouache painting of a seated male nude, executed using Arteza gouache paints on Daler Rowney 300g Aquafine Watercolour paper. The painting itself measures approximately 19x19 cms and is framed and mounted behind glass. The black frame measures approximately 34x34 cms.

I have been fascinated by trying to capture the human form in a variety of media throughout my art career. I attend regular life drawing groups whenever I can to sketch from life, usually in pencil and charcoal. For more finished works I tend to take reference photos of models to work from at a later date.
