I have chosen to use a pastel colour range for this piece rather than my usual bright palette, I wanted a painting that makes you look twice at the subject matter, as well as something where I could be adventurous with silver, and so Aqua Marine Vortex was born.

Finest oil paint on box canvas, mixed media used to form a textured effect. Edges are painted in continuation of the picture along the sides.
