Om Namah Shivaya Acrylic

Inspired by the auspicious festival of MahaShivratri, I created this portrait painting of Lord Shiva with the symbol Om. ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ is a powerful mantra and the symbol Om is sacred as it embodies the essence of the entire universe. I have painted the Om symbol in Gold, which makes it stand out and shine. Creating this canvas painting was a blissful and peaceful experience and I hope that it evokes theses feelings in you too. The painting has been varnished with Liquitex high gloss varnish. The edges of the canvas have been painted black; therefore it can be hung on the wall without framing.
