Description
Have always been a fan of Gerhard Richter and how he uses his technique of applying paint with a squeegy and palette knife rather than a brush.By applying layers of oils scraping back and applying further layers you can achieve interesting effects. Also paint which is picked up in one area of the canvas can be redistributed to other areas by the squeegy which can create a vibrant effect.Different colour tones, shapes and forms appear almost by accident and at random. This is the effect I have sought yo achieve here
