Description

New forest, late afternoon, halfway between Cadnam and Fordingbridge.

Original, plein air, impressionist, landscape, oil painting on canvas panel 20x35 cm, (approx. 8x14 inch), treated with 3 layers of high quality gesso and 1 layer of GOLDEN GAC 100 primer. This treatment aims to prevent sinking of colour over the time, where pigment would otherwise loose the crisp look due to loss of oils contained in the paint. That will ensure the bright and fresh appearance of oil paint over the long period of time. All my paintings are always treated with thin layer of protective varnish after they dry.

All materials are archival. Painting is signed and sold unframed.
