A stunning snow landscape with a solitary orange house in the Lofoten Islands an archipelago in the county of Nordland, Norway. The painting contrasts the vividly coloured house against a dramatic mountain backdrop and a barren snow-covered landscape. In this painting I have tried to capture a wide, conflicting spectrum of emotions ranging from cold, heartless isolation embodied by the landscape to the warmth, comfort and love radiated by the house.
