Description
The scenery on the wild west coast of Tasmania is stunning . A wild mx of temperate rain forest , coves and beaches facing the fierce southern ocean .
Strahan ( pronounced Strawn ) is one of the few towns on this coast sheltered by Macquarie Heads and.now relies on fishing and tourism.
The inspiration for this painting is a couple of photos I took of the sunset in Risby Cove , Strahan as we came out of a restaurant , with some of the fishing fleet moored up opposite .
It is in mixed media ….acrylic, acrylic ink and oil pastel on acrylic paper 140lb . It is not framed .
