Guinevere Oil

I’m a keen archer so it was only a matter of time until archery was featured in one of my paintings. Based on the character Guinevere from the legend of King Arthur, the archer depicted here is shooting a traditional bow and arrow. I love her strength and determination and admire her fighting spirit. I also like the historical context of the painting.

This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The painting is provided in a complimentary handmade wooden frame which is stained dark brown and fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the front and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting measures 16 x 16 inches (40.64 x 40.64 cm).
