Underwater Sea Turtle Acrylic

Sea turtles are magnificent and beautiful reptiles and I wanted to capture their beauty in this painting. In the ripples at the surface of the water, I have used silver paint, which shimmers beautifully as the light hits it. The corals at the bottom of the painting are vibrant and colourful. These bring a pop of colours to this painting, as it is predominantly various shades of blue. I have used gold paint on the sea turtle, which really makes it stand out and shine exquisitely. The painting has been varnished with Liquitex gloss varnish. The edges of the canvas have been painted black; therefore it can be hung on the wall without framing.
