Machine Acrylic

Machine - computing - steel blues and red highlights with touches of yellow. I like to follow this pattern of painting a picture with warm colours, then something with natural greens, blues and yellows, and then another different one with cold ones. This was the time of the latter. Although the base of this work is still slightly warm green and blue, I continued applying some steel blue that turns into purple in some places. Incorporating basic shapes of circles, rectangles and warped triangular ones, I went to a direction that represents cold - soulless? - machinery. With quick knife movements and slight touches with a small, rounded brush this synthesis between "unorganised" and "organised", "human" and "technology" dualities work well.

Finished with satin varnish, signed and dated on the back. Please note this is an unmounted and unframed work and will be shipped safely in a tube with certificate of authenticity.
