Description
This is an original oil painting of the amazing roof of the No. 3 Covered Slip at The Historic Dockyard Chatham. Built in 1836, the roof was then added in 1838, taking two years to complete. Also known as the ‘Big Space’ and the mezzanine level, the upper level of this building is well worth a visit.
This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The sides of the canvas have been painted pale umber to match the artwork and the painting is fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the back and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.
The painting measures 12 x 18 inches (approx. 30 x 45 cm).
All paintings are professionally wrapped to ensure they arrive in perfect condition and are shipped with tracking and insurance.
