Strawberry Fields Forever XL Acrylic

A wild meadow scene, inspired by an old familiar local landmark. The Strawberry fields near where I live disappeared many years ago and the land is used for farming but also the old barn is now a beautiful tearoom and gallery, a place I frequent often. Wild flowers are my own imaginative replacement for strawberries and joyful memories.
A very tactile and expressive and contemporary painting.
Painted using a professional standard stretched canvas using gold standard acrylics.
Sealed with acrylic varnish to protect the surface.
