Description
Woodpecker From Kentucky is an original acrylic painting.
This woodpecker did not like to be photographed. Definitely, he disliked it.
I have tried many times, and the results were not useable as a reference for realistic or hyper-realistic artwork.
He just disliked keeping still when a camera was close by. It was like, I take the camera, and the woodpecker is gone! Gone. Then I have to wait for ages until he comes back!
No, I am definitely not a good wildlife photographer.
Anyway, somehow I managed one or two suitable photos. I almost was proud of myself.
So this painting is the result of this struggle with my woodpecker from Kentucky.
Painted on a Fabriano sheet of paper. The paper is acid-free and archival, 30.5 x 25 cm; the painting is 28.2 x 23 cm showing a white margin around it. This prepares the artwork for a mounting mat.
Materials: Fabriano sheet of paper, professional-grade acrylic paints, and varnish to protect the artwork
Style: realism with impressionist influences
Size: 30.5 x 25 cm; the painting itself is 28.2 x 23 cm showing a white margin around it
The artwork is not framed.
The second photo shows how you can frame and display the artwork.
