Hand-painted on a pre-stretched canvas in oil paint, this is a genuine, original oil painting and not a reproduction or print. Please note that this painting is freshly painted, direct from the studio. The oil paint may take a couple of days to dry and may therefore take time to post safely. Sides are painted white.

This painting can be hung without a frame, although a frame is recommended (please note the frames pictured are NOT supplied and are shown for illustrative purposes only. The frames pictured can be ordered from any good framers).

About the Artist

James is a self-taught artist, painting landscapes, seascapes and abstracts using primarily oils, but sometimes using acrylics, pigments, inks and a mix of mediums to create greater depth and colour. James often plays around with colour, perspective and texture, attempting to achieve a different feel within each piece. Quite often, the artist also likes to make a bold use of colour to represent the emotion of the painting. He attempts to generate a sense of serenity and sentiment in order to express a feeling of peacefulness and calm within each painting.
