Winter's Last Moon Mixed Media

This is a little painting worked in mixed media including Derwent Metallic Paints, Soft Pastels, brush pens and Sennelier Iridescent Oil Pastels. Using an illustrative style I have created a mystic Moonhare fantasy scene, which is a very popular subject with many people. Early March is the time of the last full moon of winter.
The image measures 11cm square with a mount to set it off measuring 1.5cm.
The upcycled natural wooden frame with its attractive grain displays the image nicely.
The picture when seen in real life has beautiful golden highlights making it extra special.
