I love antiques; for me their value is the story they tell us with their shape and the use our grandparents made of them.
For this reason I like to compose and paint still lifes with this type of objects.
OIl and wine have always been typical food of the Mediterranean People and bottles and carafe are part of the tradition.
Lemons, on the other hand, remind me of the sun, light and life and I like their color, scent, flavor and shape.
A nice gift for all ages and occasions.

For this painting I used a mixed technique combining painting brushes and palette knife to give to the subject its depth in space and its touch of impressionism.
