Description
Rydal Cave situated high above Rydal Water in the Lake District UK is a remnant of the slate mine workings in that area. This image was taken about 9pm on a summers evening.
The late Summer Sun illuminating the rock walls of the cave and spreading light on the standing water on the floor of the cave to create a spectacular reflection.
