In The Corner Oil

This painting was created as one of six pieces on the theme of black and white optical art for a local exhibition. When I painted this piece, I had a sense that this was how things looked inside my head, as I was dealing with a lot of different issues at the time, which were taking me along unfamiliar paths – I didn’t know how to deal with them or where I would be led.

This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on stretched canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to give a semi-gloss finish and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The sides of the painting have been painted black and the painting has been fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the reverse and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting measures 24 x 30 inches (61 x 76 cm).
