Hidden Treasures Acrylic

Sometimes treasures can be found in the places least expected to find them.  This painting has been inspired by a leafy branch, how leaves picked up streams of light in a dense woodland, and Isaiah 45:3 "I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name."

It is a contemporary painting in a semi abstract style.  This acrylic painting on canvas has texture in places.  There is evidence of dense woodland, yet the focus in the foreground is the outline of a leafy branch which is highlighted with the use of gold leaf.
