Marmite Oil

This contemporary still life of a jar of Marmite was executed in Daler Rowney Graduate oil paints on Arches Huile paper. It is framed and mounted behind glass. The white mount has a black edging, as can be seen in the photos. The mount aperture measures 14x14 cms. The frame measures 27cms wide by 27cms high and is 3cms deep.

Still life is a subject that I return to repeatedly, and most of my still lives focus on one item rather than an arrangement of several items.
