Bifrost Acrylic

Bifröst, 2019.

As a fan of the Norse mythology, Bifröst, the rainbow bridge between Asgard and Midgard was always mysterious for me, and imagined it as a prism. When creating this piece, I knew I wouldn't use the regular rainbow colours, and would rather go with bright and screaming pink and blues with some soft green highlights. The center of the painting gets the most saturation and that helps with elevating the burning effect.

Finished with satin varnish, signed and dated on the back. Please note this is an unmounted and unframed work and will be shipped safely in a tube with certificate of authenticity.
