Distressed Union Flag Acrylic

The Union Flag of the United Kingdom painted in acrylics in a distressed style with paint drips & splashes.
The panel has been shaped to resemble a piece of ancient, broken fresco - a reminder that nothing lasts indefinitely.

Prior to painting the artwork, the 12mm MDF panel has been given numerous coats of primer, front, back & edges, and the surface has been texturised.
The finished artwork has also been protected with three coats of flat matt acrylic varnish that also includes a UV protection filter.

The artwork is signed on the back and includes a Certificate of Authenticity as well as hanging instructions, hanging brackets (one fixed on the back of the panel and one to fix to your wall) and solid wall fixings.

When displayed on the wall the piece will float about 15mm from the wall surface and no fixings will be visible. No frame is needed.

The artwork will be carefully wrapped in polythene sheeting and bubble wrap and then
packed in cardboard boxes ready for delivery.
