Description
The house of the late film director, Derek Jarman, at Dungeness, Kent, as seen around 2008. Derek's gardening was influenced by the sea, and much of the planting was a mixture of hardy plants and flotsom found on the adjacent beach.
Painted in soft pastels on Art Spectrum pastel paper.
The painting is framed in a professionally made wooden frame of walnut and oak veneer, with glazing and all fixings attached, and is ready to hang.
