The name may give away that we are looking at Scottish mountains. This time the artist taking us on a journey to Skye to admire the beautiful Cullins. The weather there can be very moody just like on this painting. After sunny day the clouds keep growing above the summits, yet for few minutes the sun-light hits the mountains just in the right spot to highlight the stunning warm colours of grass and moorland ageist the greyness of the rocks. This is great example why the artist love working from live as moments like this don't last long but are unique and magical when they do so being able to paint them fast is a poor gift from the artist to us.
