Study of light and shade. Inspired by the Pine trees in Juan Les Pins in the South of France

I enjoy walking through woodlands, particularly during times of the day when the light enters through the trees and foliage in just the right way. It takes my breath away. This painting is part of a series where I have tried to capture the awe of that emotion.
