The magical Sycamore Tree, along Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland. Famous from the Robinhood Prince Of Thieves Film. One of my favourite places to paint and capture. The light always sparkles in this place, shining from behind this beautiful tree. You can feel the centuries of time in the air, captured here a backdrop of organic, captivating Auroras. Created from imagination mixed with some realism, in a stunning palette of greens, yellows and blues, with an earthy underpainting. Painted in 2023, very saddened to have found out about the sad news. It is still a shock that it had happened.
