Description
A nuthatch seen in my garden clinging to a tree trunk. Nuthatches are very small birds that I don't often see but, just occasionally one will come to the feeders. They are delightful in colour and very acrobatic.
Painted on a birch board, I have left the edges of the board unpainted and also around the edge of the picture to show off the beauty of the wood. I have incorporated both warm and cool colours into the bird and into the tree bark, and the background is a mixture of green and turquoise.
This piece can be hung as is, or can be put into a frame if wished.
The painting will be shipped in a cardboard box.
