Cri de Coeur, Cry From the Heart, realistic painting of a tree Acrylic

Cri de Coeur, Cry From the Heart, is an original, acrylic, and realistic painting on linen canvas. It depicts my beloved cherry tree from Pontefract and there is a sad story connected with it.

One day the tree was removed. I even discussed the tree removal with our arborist from Wakefield (our district town). He and his assistant even visited us at home because of the tree. They had their reasons to cut it; however, none were acceptable in my opinion.

Anyway, the tree is gone. Just like that and we cannot do anything about it. I could do only one thing, paint the tree.

Here is one of my paintings of the mighty and grand cherry tree from Pontefract.

Materials: Belgian linen stretched canvas, primer, professional grade acrylic paints, high-quality varnish

Size: 65 x 50 x 2 cm

Style: impressionistic

The painting is unframed, but it is ready to hang through a sawtooth bracket attached to the wooden stretcher bars on the canvas' backside. So, the artwork can be displayed framed or not framed.

The sides of the stretched canvas are clean and painted white. You can display the painting with or without a frame.
