Ruby : Al large portrait acrylics on canvas size 60 x80x2 cm. the artwork was created in acrylic on hand stretched canvas
towards the end of 2024, I have been working on improving my portrait and figurative skills. Exploring a different subject and style is a really good challenge for any artist, as it offers the opportunity to develop new ways of working and challenges one’s skills.
This portrait Ruby, was painted using a limited palette of sepia tones. Emphasising shadows and highlights, the finished work is deep, warm and mellow.
The painting is sold unframed and ready to hang.
