Fire II Acrylic

Fire. I did a couple of fire related abstract paintings before which were approaching the colours and dynamics in a particular way, but I thought there is much more in this subject. Besides the "usual" reds, oranges, yellows and blacks I added a lot more white highlights to grab the smokey dance of fire too. This way the picture reminds me to the crackling of the burning logs, accompanied with the smoke that always changes direction, yet always fly toward us. I emphasised these crazy directions with flamboyant brush strokes.

Finished with satin varnish, signed on the side. Please note this is an unmounted and unframed work and will be shipped safely in a tube with certificate of authenticity.
