Description

Inspired by the shore on the south coast and also the promises of faithfulness and protection in the bible passage of Isaiah 43, this semi abstract painting gives a sense of reassurance whilst depicting a scene of power and wonder. There is texture within the surface, particularly the areas representing the sand. Warm colour tones are used in the foreground, with cooler tones higher up. Gold metallic leaf has been applied to various areas across the painting. It is painted on a deep edge canvas, with the painting continuing around all sides.
