New Forest is indefinite source of inspiration, beautiful scenery and places to set up the easel and spend hours painting.

The oil painting is made on MDF board 20x25 cm (approx. 8x10 inches) primed with 3 layers of high quality gesso and 1 layer of GOLDEN GAC 100 primer to prevent sinking of colour over the time, where pigment would otherwise loose the crisp look due to loss of oils contained in the paint. That will ensure the bright and fresh appearance of oil paint over the long period of time.

All my paintings are always treated with thin layer of protective varnish after they dry and they are signed and sold unframed. All materials are archival.
