New York Oil

My aim in this painting was to produce an instantly recognisable slice of the New York skyline, with its iconic architecture. But I also wanted to give the piece a vintage feel, selecting therefore, this particular colour palette. I hope this painting serves as an enjoyable reminder of this unique city.

This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas board. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The painting is provided in a handmade wooden frame which is painted white and fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the front and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting measures 14 x 10 inches (35.56 x 25.4 cm).
