Description
During the first lockdown of the Covid pandemic in 2020 walking locally around Derbyshire became a joyful experience. Across the Amber valley from Pentrich Mill the air was so crisp and clear and the skies crystal and airoplane free that familiar views like this one took on additional beauty and were just breathtaking. Derbyshire, beautiful at the best of times, became simply sublime. This panorama towards the Stand at Crich is a personal favourite.
