Description
One of the times I really thought really positively about where I live in a wider sense was during the Danny Boyle opening ceremony for the London Olympics 2012. Using this as a starting point - the hill and tree are in the picture and various other references - second star on the right - Mary Poppins - this picture explore some of the positive things about these Isles which I feel we need right now - how many can you spot?
A lively and hopeful depiction of some of the things that can fill us with pride when we think of where we live - particularly perhaps when reflecting upon the recent strange period of restrictions on our social interaction. There are images of NHS workers, clapping hands and in the background a few images that will hopefully resonate - references to the beautiful natural world - to our history and pre-history - to the present day with our earth connected like never before with the world wide web and mobile phone technology. In short some stories of life.
