Entangled Acrylic

McCullock's latest foray into colour and texture has resulted in intensely busy graphic images. The composition almost resembles graffiti but displays a more aesthetically pleasing form. The canvas has firstly been prepared by adding contrasting texture. This is followed by many layers of paints and inks. Coloured gloss resin adds a very 3-dimensional effect, which is covered in fine detail. An embossed initial is displayed on the right hand side of the canvas. It is also signed in full and on the reverse and decorated with a wax seal. Should this be purchased as a gift the artist is happy to write a personalised card in her calligraphic hand.
