Reindeer Oil

This is an original oil painting of a reindeer in a field. It’s not very often I paint animals but I was feeling festive over Christmas so I decided to paint something with a Christmas-theme. I like to see this reindeer in his natural setting, however, as I’m not a commercial Santa / Rudolph type!

This painting has been produced using artist grade oil paint on canvas. A coat of professional grade art varnish has been applied to optimise the colour and protect the painting from dust, UV light and other environmental factors. The painting is provided in a complimentary handmade wooden frame which is painted white and fitted with picture wire, ready to hang. The painting is signed on the front and will be shipped with the Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting measures 16 x 12 inches (40 x 30 cm).
