Making All Things New Acrylic

‘Making All Things New’ was inspired by the bible verse in Revelation 21:5 which says “And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” The way the paint was applied allows for the appearance to have a lot of movement, to indicate change. The colour palette was chosen also to depict a freshness that change will bring. The gold metallic leaf was used to represent the majesty of the One on the throne. The surface has much texture, partly due to the paint mediums used and also with the addition of sand.
This painting is painted on a deep edge canvas and has then been placed within a floating frame. The unframed measurements of the painting are W 16" x H 12" x D 1.5" The frame measures W 17.75" x H 13.75" x D 2.125"
