Walk in the Woods 3 Acrylic

In this series of three paintings I am hoping to portray my love of trees and nature to you the viewer. I began this series by adding paper collage to plywood boards, then the boards were mounted onto a wooden frame. All in keeping with a tree/wood theme.
My love of trees began as a young girl. My happy place was always in the park surrounded by them. I love how they can provide shelter for us, how they clean our air and produce oxygen to help us breath. I love that there are so many different species, all beautiful in my eyes.
I love the textures of their bark, especially the old gnarled ones, and I love how they can literally sing to us in the wind.
