Description
One of my Scottish landscape paintings is River Coe, Sunset, and a Tree, a glowing orange sunset in the Highlands.
The resilient tree from Glencoe, one of the most magical places in Scotland, enjoys the last moments of sunshine. Tomorrow it will show its natural beauty in the bright rays of the sunlight again, but now it's time to have a well-deserved rest and enjoy the river reflections shimmering in the relaxing glow.
The River Coe flows along the main road in Glen Coe, in the Highlands of Scotland.
For this artwork, I used professional-grade acrylic paints and three coats of varnish to protect it against UV radiation and air pollution, and because of the varnish, there is no need for glass in front of it. Therefore, you only have to find a 40 x 30 cm frame to display the painting.
I created the Scottish riverscape on an illustration board measuring 31 x 23 x 0.3 cm.
The painting is mounted, and its mounted (US: matted) size is 40 x 30 cm; it sells unframed.
Style: Impressionistic
The second photograph shows how this sunrise artwork can look in a frame and on a wall, the third image shows the mounted (US: matted) artwork.
