Description
Blea Tarn is situated near the sleepy village of Little Langdale in the English Lake District. It is easily accessable. Blea Tarn is one of the easiest to visit, with a convenient car park on the Little Langdale to Great Langdale road. It has a backdrop of the Langdale Pikes, being at the very heart of wild Lakeland. Rhododendrons on the rocky west shore add to the charm.
The carpark is operated by the National Trust and is expensive! But the cost is nothing in comparison to the beautiful vista of the Langdale Pikes and Side Pike you will enjoy
The town of Ambleside is a 20 min' drive in one direction and Grasmere 30 minutes away.
