SNOWFLAKE GALAXY Acrylic

This painting is inspired by the beautiful photographs from the Hubble Telescope. This spiral galaxy is the nursery for thousands of hot newborn stars, approximately 180 million light years away from earth. This spectacularly beautiful spiral is a testimony to the awesome power of it's creator. My painting does not really do it justice, but I hope that using irridescent pearl effect acrylic it maximizes the idea of the output of pure light. It is sold unframed but side painted and ready to hang.
