Verticals on Mauve Acrylic

Verticals on Mauve, 2024.

It was a long experiment for me to mix grey in a way that it is on the verge of mauve. I love using vertical movements with dynamic touches of the knife, and bringing the blue and yellow together to create a game of green is working well on this background. To tame the blue-yellow pair a little I added extra white flows to complement the shapes, and I like how these are working as puffs of small, vertical clouds.

Finished with satin varnish, signed and dated on the back. Please note this is an unmounted and unframed work and will be shipped safely in a tube with certificate of authenticity.
