Entrapped Acrylic

My latest work entitled “Entrapped” is an original painting on canvas using acrylics.
Displaying an excellent usage of line work, vanishing point, simulated reflections and colour palette.
Thoughtfully crafted but leaving room for interpretation.
Sparking the imagination, inviting the onlooker to explore its deeper meaning.

Entrapped in the concrete jungle man has created upon this beautiful earth with what appears no escape from the grip of modern day life, many choose to take the fast lane in life, in an attempt to make friends with the world, thinking it will lead to freedom and success.
Unfortunately for the vast majority, the glitz and glamour of the colourful buildings and skyscrapers of the modern day city waiting at the end of the fast lane, only lead to disappointment, and a life of friendship with the world turns out not to be friendship at all, but rather an entrapment of one’s life within the grip of society.
The Artist Stephen Maddocks leaves a small gap on the horizon leading to real friendship and true freedom but many fail to notice and miss the opportunity.
Question is, Will you notice and grasp the opportunity, or remain “Entrapped?”
