Artistic background

I am a full time artist based in North Yorkshire, mainly self taught as a painter. My degree, at Wimbledon School of Art, was in sculpture. My work is a mix of acrylic paintings, paper cut-outs and paper mosaics, all on canvas. My subject matter is wide ranging, including nudes, geometric abstracts and still lifes. Throughout all of my work there exists the core elements of vibrant colour, bold shapes and strong composition. Artists that inspire my work include Delaunay, Klee, Miro, Kandinsky and Cezanne to name but a few.
