Artistic background

I have painted pictures for as long as I can remember (I sketched the outside of Salisbury Cathedral when I was 9). I am selling mainly in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire in the UK, though also followed internationally. When I retired from business, I decided to take up my art full time and in 2017, I sat a Diploma in Art at London Art College and passed with Distinction. Apart from that, I am largely self taught. I have produced some extremely realistic work including portraits of people and animals which can be viewed on my Instagram account. Recently, I have converted to abstract paintings which I absolutely love, and I am gradually putting them on artgallery.co.uk. These paintings are ultra colourful. They don't want to merge with the decor. They want to stand out! They want to boss the room. They are alive!
