Artistic background

About the Artist

I began painting seriously in 2019, following the passing of my grandfather, who was also a painter. His artistic talent and passion for painting became my inheritance, and since then, creating art has been an integral part of my daily life.

Born in Bucharest, Romania, I am now based in Southampton, United Kingdom. In 2021, I held my first solo exhibition in Romania, where I was honored with the Diploma of Merit from the International Romanian Art Center in recognition of my debut in painting. Since then, I have participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions across Romania, the UK, and Georgia, earning multiple Diplomas of Excellence for my work.

My solo exhibitions have been featured in press articles and televised interviews in Romania, receiving widespread recognition for their themes and artistic techniques. Some of my works are now part of state collections in county museums in Romania.

In 2022, I earned a diploma in graphic design from Blue Sky Graphics College in London. The following year, I further developed my artistic skills by completing a painting course at Southampton College. In 2024, I registered the logo of my brand, "DZ", as a trademark—certifying the authenticity of both my paintings and graphic design projects.

My work spans multiple mediums, including acrylic, oil, mixed media, and digital painting, with themes deeply rooted in emotion and personal experience.
