Artistic background

I have always enjoyed art right from school and I have continued to work on craft work, drawing and painting for many years. Art runs in my family, my father mother and grandmother all excellent artists and it is now a passion of mine. I started out selling my art two years ago in my garden shed at home. After experimenting with floral work and fluid art I soon moved onto abstract. Abstract art is my favourite art form and my passion in life. When I start a piece I just go with the idea in my head firstly then it all comes together with thought to the design compilation and colours. The colours are the most important thing in a piece of art to me. I started out painting 8"x8"canvases and now I paint on 180x80cm canvases.
Baby steps to greater things.

Since then I have sold many pieces including commission pieces which are now all around the UK on people's walls. Seeing my art on a customers wall is the most uplifting satisfying and inspiring feeling. A dream come true.
My best moment so far is being commissioned for a large black & white piece for a Chiropodist Surgery office.

I embrace the freedom of artistic expression. My approach to a piece is one of impulsiveness, spontaneity and intuition. I lose myself in a tranquil world of peace and creativity when I paint.

I use acrylic oil and various tools to manipulate the canvas. I love to create the 3D effect and texture.

I live in the Chester area of Cheshire and my art is available for sale and I take on commission work.

All my paintings come signed with a certificate of authenticity on the reverse.
