Liz Turner

Artistic background

Liz is an Artist based in Worthing, West Sussex. Her paintings are inspired by landscapes, landmarks, and nature. She works on canvas and paper, building up layers of acrylic paint, exaggerating shapes, and textures to create a more poetic and abstract feel to her work.

Liz has a degree in Visual Arts and Culture which she gained in Salford. She has enjoyed working in several creative environments; teaching art and design at secondary school and later, working in retail and commercial interior design whilst living in London.
Liz previously had art studios in Manchester and East London, but most recently has set up a studio at her home in Worthing where she continues to experiment with her paintings and explore new ways of working.
