Artistic background

Aleksandra is a Russian-born artist who lives and works in London. In her works she reflects on sensations and everyday rituals in a naive, child-like manner, combining different media. She uses everyday utensils such as cardboards, egg shells and contact lenses.

As she has a background in writing and editing, she pays special attention to the words, inserting phrases in different languages into her works.

Aleksandra was exhibited in the Holy Art Gallery in Milan and London.
